Arrived in Buenos Aires

Together with Fariba and Sven (shown in the photo below), we took the flight from Frankfurt to Buenos Aires and landed early on April 2. After meeting Rodrigo from Pyxera in the hotel, we went to get some cash, and then have coffee and medialunas together.


Around 1pm, altogether 8 colleagues from the team of 12 were already in town, and we had a light lunch together with Rodrigo and our local consultant Carolina. It was great to meet the people we only had remote interaction with during the previous weeks!

Funny enough, our first lunch in the capital of beef was a vegan one - even our "cafe cortado" (similar to cappuccino) after the lunch was vegan - and made us wonder what the milk looked like. It was soy milk, and this looked a bit weird, as the milk was not completely dissolved in the cafe (you may call me a beginner in veganism). But rather than that: Yummy! For tomorrow, Carolina already announced that we will have a parrilla - no more vegan then...


For today, I will close with a couple of impressions from the roof top of the hotel - where the swimming pool is located. Enjoy some impressions of the neighborhood that will be our home during the next four weeks...!
